Will and being

Life follows a path of twists and turns, leading us from one adventure to the next. We are in a continual process of self-definition because how we define ourselves changes with how we actualise our personality in life. What we actualise is more than those things we actualise in the physical world. The reality is that our physical body will wear down over time until it finally returns to dust. However we are also in a process of evolving our inner being or spiritual togetherness. Our essence is not limited by time and the process of aging. Will holds being together, love gives expression to being and wisdom grows being.  All three are needed to evolve our being. Our inner will is independent from external circumstances.  We live life fully when we learn that our inner will is an abundant source of energy that can wade through despair and conquer all challenges.

  1. The power of that last sentence few understand but from experience i know that to be what can make or break someone in deep turmoil and trauma. It is great wisdom.

  2. The older I get the less ‘I’ identify with the body that hosts me. Last night, as I sat outside the motel room on the sidewalk, the vibrational transparency of the world around me was so obvious. My life has been one of many transitions. I’m often surprised to find myself where I am.

  3. “continual process of self-definition”…I love this! So many people seem to think we should have “arrived” by a certain age…but, I love that we are always in the process! And this post was of great encouragement to me! Thank you!
