True love has a quality of purity, untouched by the evils of society. True love is a witness of the others life with honesty and yet without judgement. True love is an always caring presence ready to support where there is need. True love is a crown of roses where all thoughts is for the benefit of the other. Pure love is wholesome I dependent and able to embrace even when love is unanswered. Pure love has a gracefulness that reminds us of our Celestial connection that binds two souls together and unite them as one. We return to pure love when we return to innocense.

THORN – Today I project my will. I am firm in what I want to achieve. I see within myself the ideal man and I set my aim to be that ideal as closely as what I can be. A man unattached by the opinions of others, driven solely by the virtues that makes him the best man he could ever be. A man of confidence that does not hesitate to act in accordance with natural and spiritual law. A man of inner power that is the same under any circumstances. A man that will not crumble under the pressures of life, the tensions of being human. A man that lives from a higher perspective and that can see the full force of his being. The man that takes responsibility for his actions and the consequences of his actions. A man that deliberate every moment and that impart significance into every decision. In a world of giants, in a static world this man knows the power of life-giving water and it flows freely from him.

BAR – I know my challenge is to hide the powers that is given onto me deep within myself. I am initiated and protected by those who walked this path before me. Within me the seed has been planted and the structure of what I want to be has been formulated and sealed with light. The light will bring into being that which I am and aim to be. In the depths of danger I will find my sanctuary within my own being where I am connected with the divine spirit that dwells in every creature. I will live with compassion and ever seek to attain not just mastery of self but mastery of service in service to mankind. This is what I am initiated to be, this is what I aim to be. The ideal man manifest not for the sake of grandeur but for service…to bring freedom, health and integrity into the world. A man that can stand steadfast before his own conscience.

KA – So today I consecrate myself for the work that needs to be done. The ideal man is still far from manifestation. The seed has been planted. The fire lit and now it is time to grow. I am patient, I choose life and life is forever my goal. I carry the light with me and the light is growing brighter every moment as I practice my skills and awaken my psychic being. I grow every day in knowledge and in being. The one needs the other …no growth in knowledge means no growth in being…no growth in being means no growth in knowledge. I know I cannot show others the way through knowledge, but I can let my light shine so that others my see the light. When the light ignite within them the light will bring clarity within their inner consciousness and they will find the path that leads to integrity, harmony and unity.

This is the way and this is what must be. I project my will to live my ideal. I consecrate myself for the path that I must walk. I wake up every day with the firm resolve to grow in consciousness and conscience towards integrity, harmony and unity. So mote it be.

BAR: I am protected by the forces of nature and no harm will come to me. I am silent and in my silence I learn new ways of interacting with the runes. Within my inner being grows my awareness of who I truly am. I must hold onto who I am, remain confident in who I am and no harm will come to me. I know that I am a Knight of the runes. I am initiated into the mysteries, and the knowledge of the mysteries empowers me. 
SIG: The victory I experience today is in my being. To be truly me is the victory that moves me forward. Whatever I decide to do today will be done with success because I am empowered. The light shine upon me, I am doing what is needed to live in the light. I am not just having victory for myself but also victory for the people around me.  I embrace virtue and bind it closer to me. I focus more than ever on the virtues I want to manifest into my life. The victory is mine when I stay calm and focused; when I trust my true nature. 
YR: I must manifest change in this world and it will be successful. What I start today will grow and prosper and what I end will be finished and complete. I am aware of my creative power to exert change into the physical world. I will become confident to life with confidence in this world as long as what is needed.  I will be a force in my presence, in the here and the now I will assert myself. 

I have realised that life is a constant change. We have our ups and our downs. Life continues with or without our contribution. In the vastness of the cosmos every human being is nothing, irrespective of how mighty they might have been on earth. It can be troublesome for the mind to reconcile ourselves with this understanding of our insignificance and we can quickly spiral down into Nihilism. But the human mind is a wonderful tool that can hold two opposing concepts in mind. We can also be at the center of the universe and the universe can be fully within our minds. It is an extraordinary feat of the human mind.

What put me on this trend of thinking was a question about Stoicism in the Stoicism group of Facebook. The person basically asked what is the Stoic attitude towards money. I answered: “Money is a preferred indifferent, nice to have but not a requirement for being happy. Be a good steward of how you use money. Don’t wish for more money than that which will tempt you away from virtue. Ask a fair payment for your contribution to society so that you have enough for what you need. Put the money that flows to you in good use to benefit society.”

While contemplating the answer I simply realised again how neglegent  we are on this small planet hidden in the vastness of the universe.

I might pass somebody today that gives me the message that I am not good enough. Just for today I will love the people whom I perceive to be giving me the message that I am not good enough. I will validate to ascertain whether it is my perception or an actual truth. My own feeling of not being good enough might be the cause of the perception. I acknowledge that my ego might transform the truth where a remark is made, where it is not meant, but interpreted as: “I am not good enough”.

The first step is to validate what is really being said. The second is to deal with the message if it is true. When somebody feels that ” I am not good enough” it is there perception and I can ignore it. I can focus on continuing developing virtue within. If it is true I can take it on board and see if I can improve. If I cannot improve then I should not waste my time trying to improve. If I can improve I can prioritise it and plan activities that will improve. If the priority is high then I can activate it immediately, if the priority is low then I can leave it.
