Starting on my Reiki Journey

I have never seen myself as a healer or showed any interest in that direction. However a person changes with time. My training in mysticism taught me the basic principles of healing and then I got an opportunity to do a course in TRE (Trauma/Tension release exercises). This was an amazing journey of discovering how the body repairs itself and the trust we must place in the body to find the places where healing is needed. I also extended my interest in different directions practicing both Tai Chi and Yoga. I actually should have blogs for both Tai Chi and Yoga. I do have a blog for Tai Chi but not for Yoga.

The bottom line is that the principle of health became much more important to me and the practices that are associated with health and healing. I had not been seriusly ill in my 52 years on this earth and I have little continuing problems besides my heyfever. Off course I cannot say that I will continue to be blessed in this way but I have realised the importance of health and how health enables one to become a more healthy. Health is much more than a mere principle of healing after sickness. I prefere to talk about a process of rebalancing harmony.

Healing is about fining balance, harmony and integrity in your whole being on the physical, emotional, psychic and spiritual plains. There is no one single golden bullet but a toolbox of healing modalities that is required to be truly healthy. As my interest grew, I got more and more interested in reiki. I began by reading books on reiki and then finally in the beginning of thies year 2018, I decided to do a reiki course.  I have put action behind this intent and I joined a course that will guide me onto a Reiki journey.
