Expression / Destiny Number (from name – talents and attributes) – 4 Soul Urge Number (from name vowels – desires, likes and dislikes) – 8 Personality Number (from name consonants – how others perceive) – 5 Life Path Number – (from birth date – nature of life’s journey) – The Expression or Destiny number describes ones talents and attributes. It also defines the name holders life opportunities and destiny. What they should aspire to be. Unlike the Life Path number which reads as you ARE, the Expression number more correctly reads as you MUST. The Soul Urge number reflects ones heart’s desires. It describes the name holders inner yearnings, likes and dislikes. Although it is considered a core influence, it is less important than the Life Path or Expression / Destiny numbers because it reflects inner feelings that are kept private and are not frequently exposed to others. The Personality Number is sometimes considered the mask which one wears in public. It indicates how one presents themselves to the world and vice versa, how one is perceived by others. The personality that one displays to the world may be very different from their true nature. |

I think numerology was/is another attempt to discover hidden meanings in nature – in this case it included the belief that something as “natural”as counting must also include hidden attributes.
Remember: There are 10 kinds of people: Those who count with binary numbers and those who don’t.
Interesting. I always have a difficult time following/understanding Numerology. It just doesn’t speak to me.
I really can not say that name analysis is anything more than interesting to read. I have not really researched numerology in depth.
