School final exams

My son, the youngest of my children got his final school results yesterday. He got six distinctions from seven subjects. I am proud of him for his achievement. He did it from own effort and focus. I had the opportunity to go out, just the two of us, to celebrate his achievement. I was once again impressed by his wisdom, settled in a bit of naivety, yet wisdom. A passion to be a force of change, much like what I had when I was young. Maybe his is more mature than mine when I was his age. So there I sat with him and silently admired the young man he became. True he must still learn much and face the challenges the world will bring him. However, I saw a man that is prepared for the task he sets upon himself. He has the determination and tenacity to succeed and walk a straight path. How fortunate I am to see all my children passing this key milestone of finishing school and progressing to university studies.
