Mindfullness for me is about expanding my consciousness and conscience in its maximum capacity.
Consciousness is defined by the degree of awareness of state (or structure) and possibility:
- The internal state versus the external environment
- The relationship between my internal essence and my external existence and how they impact on each other and
- The range of possibilities of react and action within that framework of interaction
Consciousness include a range that includes
- objective consciousness or awareness of our senses,
- subjective consciousness or our processing and interpretation of information
- Unmanifested consciousness or what is possible but have not yet manifested
Conscience on the other hand is the degree of awareness of flow (or dynamics) and potential:
- The cause and effect relationship caused by action, emotion and thought
- The net contribution of an action, emotion and thought
- The ability to choose the most beneficial actions, emotions and thoughts
Conscience includes a range that includes
- Good versus bad
- Right versus wrong
- Virtue versus Vice
So in mindfullness is a state where we are totally aware of the possibilities and potential within each situation and being able to seize opportunities to realise the complete potential of our human nature – making better choices that leads to a sustainable happiness for all. That is to speak, think and act from free will rather from a mechanically impulse-response mode.
