#MylifePurpose : A River of Healing

#MylifePurpose : A River of Healing

My life purpose has been a remarkable odyssey, constantly evolving and reshaping itself. It’s not a rigid path, but a flowing river, adapting and carving its way forward while staying true to its core – bringing healing. Fate has nudged me along, revealing new ways to express my deep desire to make a positive impact.

Three guiding principles have been my constant companions: independence with connection, continuous learning, and fostering well-being.  I see a world where wholeness, balance, and empowered individuals come together to create a beautiful and sustainable future.  This vision demands wisdom, responsible leadership, and a fair justice system – all nurtured by personal and collective growth.

Throughout my career, I’ve channeled this purpose in various ways. As an industrial engineer, I designed organizations with well-being in mind.  In the legislative sector, I championed democratic values, leaving a positive mark.  These experiences have given me a wealth of knowledge and the profound satisfaction of knowing I’ve made a difference.

Now, as retirement approaches, it’s time for another exciting chapter.  Over the years, I’ve meticulously built a diverse toolkit: Grand Rune Master, Reiki Master, Meditation Coach – powerful instruments for healing.  While Rune wisdom holds a special place in my heart, my meditation coaching skills hold immense potential.

I imagine guiding people on an inward journey, helping them shed limiting beliefs and reconnect with their inner strength, purpose, and creativity. This aligns perfectly with my core desire – to empower individuals towards wholeness.  This new path allows me to share my wisdom in a meaningful and impactful way.

I’m embracing this exciting redirection! With my experience, passion, and skills, I can become a beacon of inner peace and self-discovery for many.  Remember, the impact I make doesn’t depend on the size of the audience, but on the depth of transformation I inspire in each person.

Guido von List – some ideas.

Today, in commemoration of Guido von list’s transition 105 years ago, let’s delve into a few ideas of Guido von List when he introduced his version of the Aryo Germanic religion. He was a thinker who had some interesting ideas, besides describing the runes, about the world and our place in it.

Listen up! The first thing Guido stressed was the power of words. Language, he said, is like a treasure chest that holds onto traditions for future generations. It’s also connected to the natural world around us.

Now, Guido also noticed something interesting about religion. Sometimes, there are teachings everyone knows (like stories about gods and goddesses), and sometimes there are hidden teachings, meant for a smaller group. It’s kind of like having a secret handshake – only those “in the know” understand it.

Here’s another cool idea Guido had: imagine everything in the universe, from tiny rocks to giant stars, is all connected. It’s like a giant web, and everything has its place. He even believed that spirit and matter, the things we can’t touch and the things we can, are two sides of the same coin.

Guido also thought it was important for everyone to explore their own spirituality. He called this “Wihinei.” It’s like finding your own truth, not just following what everyone else tells you. By learning and questioning, you develop your own beliefs and become a stronger person.

Now, buckle up, because Guido had some ideas about what happens after we die. He believed in a cycle of rebirth, where our souls come from a source (like a giant cosmic lake he called the “Ur”) and return to it after living many lives. It’s kind of like a journey with many chapters.

And guess what? The universe, according to Guido, follows a set of rules, kind of like a cosmic recipe. One of these rules is called the “Law of Homogeneity.” It basically means there’s a pattern to everything, from the tiniest atom to the biggest galaxy. Pretty neat, huh?

Finally, Guido believed that something divine, a spark of the greater whole, lives inside each of us. That means every single person has something special, something that connects them to everything else in the universe. Pretty cool, right?

Remember,  these are just some of Guido von List’s ideas. There’s a lot more to learn about him, but this is a good starting point. We do not have to take his words blindly as truth, but he certainly gives us much to contemplate and consider as we develop our own philosophy of the world and our place in it.

Why don’t you comment about your ideas of the world and our place in it. Let’s remain open minded and supportive of each other’s ideas and philosophies.

Meditating while lying down

Yes, you can absolutely meditate while lying down! In fact, for some people, it can be a more comfortable and accessible way to practice.

Here’s a breakdown of the pros and cons of meditating while lying down:
Pros:
– Restful and comfortable: Lying down allows your body to relax more easily, reducing tension and making meditation more enjoyable.
– Easier on the body: If you have trouble sitting comfortably for long periods, lying down can be a great alternative, especially if you have any pain or injuries.
– Spinal alignment: Lying on a flat surface can help elongate and straighten your spine, which can be beneficial for meditation.
Cons:
– Risk of falling asleep: This is the main drawback. Lying down can make it easier to drift off, especially if you’re tired.

Here are some tips to help you meditate while lying down and avoid falling asleep:

– Set an alarm: If you’re worried about falling asleep, set a gentle alarm for the end of your meditation session.
– Avoid heavy meals beforehand: Eating a big meal before meditation can make you drowsy.
– Choose the right time: Don’t meditate right before bed when you’re already tired.
– Focus on your breath: Pay close attention to your breath sensations as it enters and leaves your nostrils. This can help keep your mind engaged.
– Open your chest: Keep your chest slightly open to facilitate deeper diaphragmatic breathing, which is more stimulating than shallow breaths.
– Support your spine: Use pillows or blankets to support your head, knees, or lower back and maintain good spinal alignment.
– Try a body scan meditation: Instead of focusing on your breath, focus on each part of your body systematically, tensing and relaxing different muscle groups. This can be a good way to stay present.

Cyclicity, non-attachment and divine whispers

Life often leads me briefly down a side path that disrupts my flow, a stark reminder of its cyclical nature of life. Yet, amidst the change, I find myself continually drawn backforcefully to the present moment. Perhaps that’s the lesson – to exist in the in-between of the ever-turning cycle (THORN).
Everything is impermanent, even the flow of creation. Like the tide, needsing it’s ebb and flow (YR). What fueled me yesterday may no longer serve me tomorrow. It forces me to confront my ego attachments in life, the goals I clung to so tightly.  Am I ready to embrace the unknown challenges that rise with the sun in the morning?
“Destiny”. It’s a word that both excites and terrifies. Is it a preordained path, or can we shape it with our choices? Perhaps it’s the zenith, that point of culmination, where we stand poised to step across a threshold. Here, we have the power to choose – to rise in victory or stumble in defeat.
But victory isn’t solely dependent on our actions. The Divine whispers in the silence, offering guidance and strength (LAF). It’s in understanding the cycle and letting go of attachments that we recognize this divine presence. Only then can we truly seize the moment, “… and graft life fully for its full beauty.”
This journey requires courage, a boldness that confronts challenges head-on (grasping the bull by the horns). Yet, it must be balanced with inner peace, a deep trust in the nurturing embrace of the Divine.
Maybe that’s the key. To navigate the ever-turning cycle (THORN) with a heart unburdened by attachment (YR), all while seeking the whispers of divine guidance (LAF). Perhaps then, I can evolve into the person and presence I’m meant to be.
