Finding Peace in Imperfection: A Practical Guide to Self-Love and Growth

What is one thing you would change about yourself?

I’m a work in progress, just like everyone else. I’m happy with who I am, flaws and all. Sure, I procrastinate sometimes, and I could be fitter. But when I really want something, I make it happen.

We all have limitations, and some things are harder to change than others. No amount of effort will turn someone with a broad frame into a supermodel. So, if you can’t change something, embrace it! Find the humor in it or simply make the best of it. Self-acceptance and self-care bring more joy than constant striving.

My philosophy is simple: if you want to change, set your intention, build new habits, and be patient. Change takes time and effort. If you can’t change something, accept it and find a way to turn it into a strength.

Here’s a powerful tool that works both ways: visualization. When you want to change, visualize your goal as if it’s already achieved. This will energize you and propel you forward. If you can’t change something, visualize it positively. Your imagination is limitless. Don’t dwell on what you lack; instead, focus on what you want. Visualization can shift your mindset and make it easier to accept your circumstances.

So, I urge you: stop chasing after what you don’t have. Either make a plan to change or accept yourself. The key to happiness in both scenarios is the power of visualization. A cat cannot become a dog but they can visualize it!

~ Laws of vibration ~

  1. The Law of Environment: Where we are, we resonate with traces from the past.
  2. The Law of Association: We become like the company we keep.
  3. The Law of listening: What we listen to, we perceive as real.
  4. The Law of Surrender: When we let go, we are able to receive.
  5. The Law of acceptance: When we accept things as they are, we free ourselves to move forward.
  6. The Law of Thought: As we think, so we become.
  7. The Law of Gratitude: What we appreciate, increases.
  8. The Law of Visualization: What we imagine, we create.
  9. The Law of Intention: When we set an intention with clarity and focus, we manifest.
  10. The Law of Action: What we do, we attract.
  11. The Law of Resonance: When we surround ourselves with things that resonate with us, we raise our vibration.
  12. The Law of Momentum: Once we start moving in a direction, it becomes easier to keep going.
  13. The Law of collaboration: When we work in accord with universal law, opportunities to grow and evolve increases.

The list of laws start with the laws that are more passive, where we are simply receptive to the influences of our environment and the people around us. Then we can move on to the laws where we are more active, taking steps to raise our vibration and manifest our desires. Finally, we can acknowledge the forces that can support us in our journey.

Here is a brief explanation of each law:

The Law of Environment:

The environment we live in has a direct impact on our vibration. When we are surrounded by positive and uplifting things, our vibration is raised. When we are surrounded by negative and draining things, our vibration is lowered.

The Law of Association:

The people we spend time with also have a direct impact on our vibration. When we surround ourselves with positive and supportive people, our vibration is raised. When we surround ourselves with negative and critical people, our vibration is lowered.

The Law of Listening:

The things we listen to can also have a significant impact on our vibration. When we listen to music, podcasts, or conversations that are positive and uplifting, our vibration is raised. When we listen to things that are negative and draining, our vibration is lowered.

The Law of Surrender:

When we surrender to the universe, we are allowing it to work its magic in our lives. This can be difficult, but it is essential for manifesting our desires. We must not attach to negative emotions that keeps us prisoners of a painful situation.

The Law of Acceptance:

When we accept things as they are, we free ourselves to move forward. This does not mean that we have to like the situation, but it does mean that we accept it and let go of our resistance to it. We don’t waste energy fighting against misfortune that fate has dealt us.

The Law of Thought: Our thoughts are powerful creators. They emit a frequency that attracts similar experiences and circumstances into our lives. We become more aware of the things we think about. Therefore, it is important to focus on positive and noble thoughts and eliminate negative thoughts.

The Law of Gratitude:

Gratitude has a powerful positive effect on our vibration. When we are grateful for the good things in our lives, we raise our vibration and attract more good things into our lives. We become aware of what is already supporting us.

The Law of Visualization:

When we visualize what we want, we are sending a message to the universe that we are ready to receive it. This can be done through meditation, journaling, or simply spending time thinking about what we want. The more clear the visualization the higher the vibration.

The Law of Intention:

Our intentions are powerful creators. When we set an intention with awareness and focus, and maintain that focus, we are more likely to manifest our desires. More focus means less disruptions and unwanted interventions.

The Law of Action:

In order to manifest our desires, we need to take action. This could be anything from reading a book about our desired outcome to taking a class or workshop. The key is to take regular actions towards our goals.

The Law of Resonance:

When we surround ourselves with things that resonate with us, we raise our vibration. This includes the music we listen to, the books we read, the items we keep in our homes and the people we spend time with. We must consciously choose the things we surround us with.

The Law of Momentum:

Once we start moving in a positive direction, it becomes easier to keep going. The more we focus on our goals and take action, the stronger our vibration becomes. The more other people and circumstances supports a course of action the more likely is success.

The Law of Collaboration:

When we work in accord with universal law, opportunities to grow and evolve increase. This means working with the flow of the universe and not against it. We tap into our full potential, seize opportunities and better assess the possibility to succeed.

I hope this helps to clarify the laws of vibration and how they can be applied to our lives.

Ultimately, the best way to use the laws is to find a way that works for you and that you can follow consistently. There is no right or wrong way to do it, as long as you are consistent and persistent.

I wish you all the best in your journey of raising your vibration and manifesting your will.

THORN: Today I strengthen my ability to project

Without will we are aimless. As conscious beings we have the ability to have influence on the how the future will play out and unfold. We can use this ability or we can just flow with the stream trough time and be dragged along with it. When we take up THORN as the third rune of the Armanen Futhork we accept responsibility of our lives and the way it unfolds. Certainly not everything will unfold exactly as we hope it to be but it can manifest as we intent it to be. But intention is not just a projection on the outer world, intention is set within, a change within an that change projects a change into the external world. In order to set our intent from the inner world we need our inner world to be illuminated from within, we need to become in touch with the soul that is our true self resident in the physical body.

When we practice THORN we are empowered by a strong self confidence that we have power to influence and shape the future. THORN is more than just planning a future, it is having a clear visualization of all senses of what that future will look like and how it will be experienced. Planning might set out steps to follow but THORN ask for a projection from within our inner being into the external world of living action.  With THORN there is no regret when the world seems to oppose the idea of our ideals but rather it is a challenge we accept with a happy hard. We link into the force of THORN to overcome obstacles in the physical world and remain constant in that which we wish to manifest. THORN brings within us a patience that waits for the right moment of manifestation, the right moment when we need to act and the moment when we need to pause. We have a wide array of means to our disposal and all we need to do is to connect the right moment with the right action. Often the action is not in accord with the physical world but in accord with what we sense in our inner being as the right action that might seem counter intuitive and yet still forcefully moving forward.

We accept responsibility for who we are and make no excuses for our weaknesses. We strengthen our weaknesses and leverage our strengths as we persist to build who we want to be. Achievement on the physical level of a goal is like an alchemist’s attainment of gold and yet realizing that gold was not the end goal. The end goal is the elixir of life, the philosopher’s stone the clothing of our soul with virtue.  With THORN we see beyond the physical constraints and achievements and we embrace that which we are as spirit and soul.  We evolve the essence of our inner being.  In this path there is no resistance, every resistance is but an enabler that allows us to focus on the inner world that is the core of strength, the fortitude of growth.

When you are young you may feel that it is a natural process because the doors of possibility is always open. However it is easy to loose faith in yourself when you become older, time to attain decreases and energy levels begin to wane. But with THORN as a crystal in the crown that is upon my head there is a continued process of growth. For what I want to attain is not external in the form of fame, and riches but it is about reaching a state of being and knowledge based on virtue. It is laying a foundation not just for this life but for every future life that is to be lived.
