Are you superstitious?
So, are you superstitious? Let’s unpack that! According to my dusty old dictionary, superstition is an “excessively credulous belief in the supernatural.” But let’s be real—one person’s “woo-woo nonsense” is another’s “sacred ritual.” Me? I’m over here casually strolling under ladders like I’m auditioning for a daredevil circus act. Friday the 13th? Pfft. I waltz through that day with the confidence of a bull in a china shop (minus the broken dishes, because adulting).
Now, does this make me immune to life’s little “oopsie-daisy” moments? Absolutely not! But here’s the tea: I refuse to side-eye black cats or blame Mercury Retrograde for my Wi-Fi crashing. Cold, hard logic? That’s for Vulcans and Star Track enthusiasts (looking at you, Mr. Spock). A world where everything must “make sense”? Sounds about as fun as a spreadsheet party. No thanks—I’ll keep my humanity, complete with its glorious chaos!
But synchronicity? Oh, my friend, that’s my passion. I live in a world where nothing is a coincidence—it’s all a cosmic wink. Meet a stranger? Clearly, the universe sent them to hand-deliver a life lesson (or maybe just a killer cookie recipe). A bird lands nearby? That’s Mother Nature’s TED Talk just for me. Clouds morph into shapes? That’s the sky’s way of doodling motivational posters.
Call me “superstitious” if you must. Scoff at my habit of high-fiving fate. Roll your eyes at my belief that the universe is my overly enthusiastic bestie, conspiring to make my dreams come true. But here’s the thing: my life is a glitter-filled parade of magic, wonder, and the occasional “wait, did that just HAPPEN?” moments. Logic can keep its pocket protector—I’ll be over here, dancing with serendipity, sipping cosmic lemonade, and living my best enchanted life.
Who’s with me? (But seriously, don’t walk under that ladder. I take zero responsibility for paint cans.)
Which animal would you compare yourself to and why?
If spirit animals were a LinkedIn endorsement, mine would read: “Approved by the Caracal & Honey Badger Fan Club (est. childhood).”Let’s unpack this wild resume.
The caracal isn’t just a cat with fancy ear tufts (though those are exquisite). It’s the introvert’s spirit animal on a stealth mission. I vibe with its ability to thrive solo—no pack meetings, no group texts, just elegant independence. Think of it as the James Bond of the savannah: precise, efficient, and low-key glamorous. Hunting efficiency? More like adulting efficiency. The caracal doesn’t waste energy chasing mediocrity; it calculates, pounces, and gets the job done. Plus, its love of beauty speaks to me—like that friend who spends 20 minutes arranging a charcuterie board before Instagramming it. The caracal’s message: “Solitude isn’t loneliness; it’s where magic (and successful hunts) happen.”
If the caracal is 007, Bond, the honey badger is Deadpool—snarky, unstoppable, and allergic to giving up. Its rep for “indomitable spirit” is basically code for *“You think *this* will stop me? LOL.”* Need honey? It’ll yeet a beehive, endure stings, and snack triumphantly. Need to dig through literal dirt for survival? The honey badger’s LinkedIn bio would just say: *“Problem solver. Resourceful. Doesn’t take ‘no’ personally.”* I channel its rebellious grit when life serves up obstacles (or bureaucracy). Its life motto: “Rules are suggestions, and honey is worth the drama.”
Both animals are the ultimate soloists. The caracal whispers, “Elegance under pressure,” while the honey badger roars, “Pressure? Crush it with chaotic flair.” Together, they’re my yin-yang of independence: one thrives in quiet mastery, the other in defiant hustle.
Bonus Life Lessons (With a Side of Humor):
Caracal Tip: Next time someone calls you “aloof,” say you’re “strategically curating your energy.” Then drop a mic (gracefully).
Honey Badger Hack: Stuck in a problem? Ask: “What would the honey badger do?” Spoiler: It’ll involve creative swearing and relentless action.
Unifying Truth: Independence isn’t about rejecting others—it’s about knowing when to collaborate (*caracal*) and when to bulldoze (*honey badger*).
If my spirit animals threw a party, the caracal would bring minimalist décor and curated playlists, while the honey badger would show up late, raid the fridge, and somehow fix the broken aircon. I aspire to be both host and life of the party—just on my own terms.
(P.S. If you need me, I’ll be practicing my “caracal stare” in meetings and my “honey badger negotiation tactics” at the local pawn shop.

What are your biggest challenges?
As I continue my Grail quest—my journey of self-reinvention as I approach retirement—the biggest obstacles I face revolve around space, resources, and tools. Each of these challenges touches on my aspirations to establish a meditation school, enhance my rune carving practice, and step fully into my role as a Rune Master.
At present, I lack a dedicated physical space to bring these dreams to life. For meditation classes, rune carving, or even teaching students locally, I have no functional area where I can fully immerse myself in these activities. Without a proper space, it’s difficult to create an environment conducive to learning, teaching, and growth. The challenge lies in either finding a new space that meets my needs or transforming an existing area into one that can serve multiple purposes.
Beyond physical space, I face significant technological limitations. I lack high-quality equipment for content creation, such as proper microphones, cameras, and editing software. My current tools are not sufficient to produce polished content that aligns with my vision. While I could invest in better technology over time, I must also find ways to work within my current limitations. This means creating content that prioritizes authenticity over production value and learning how to make the most of the resources I already have.
A studio setup would also be ideal. The ability to adjust my background and create versatile settings for recordings or classes could enhance my reach and professional presence. Yet, this remains another area where I need to learn and grow—mastering editing tools and improving my technical proficiency are critical steps forward.
Lastly, my outdated computer poses its own set of challenges. A reliable and powerful computer would streamline my workflow, allowing me to focus more on content creation and less on navigating technical difficulties.
Each of these obstacles—space, technology, and skills—represents a stepping stone rather than a roadblock. My goal for 2025 is to tackle these challenges head-on, starting with practical solutions and incremental improvements. By addressing these foundational needs, I aim to create a sustainable path for transformation and establish a strong framework for my Grail quest.
This journey is as much about learning as it is about creating. With persistence, creativity, and a focus on progress over perfection, I believe I can turn these obstacles into opportunities for growth and, ultimately, success.

]]>What could you do less of?
I’ve been wrestling with a profound insight: sometimes, doing less is the key to achieving more. It might sound counterintuitive, but simplifying can be a powerful strategy for clarity and effectiveness.
When complexity entangles our thoughts, the solution is often to strip things down to their essence. While it’s true that some nuanced topics require intricate understanding, simplicity offers a more practical approach. Complex systems can trap us in endless mental gymnastics, whereas a simplified perspective allows for clearer thinking and action.
Simplification doesn’t mean being reductive—it means being strategic. By cutting away unnecessary elements that don’t add value, we create space for what truly matters. Think of it like sculpting: removing the excess reveals the beautiful form underneath.
This doesn’t mean discarding beauty or depth. Instead, seek elegance in simplicity. Find the golden ratio between straightforward understanding and necessary complexity—perhaps around 60-40, where simplicity leads and nuance supports.
The result? Clarity emerges like muddy water settling, making it easier to set targets and chart a clear direction. By embracing simplification, we can transform overwhelming complexity into manageable, actionable insights.
It’s very simple: Simplicity is not about being simplistic. It’s about finding the most direct path to understanding and effectiveness.

Share five things you’re good at.
I’ve always been fascinated by the interplay of systems and the hidden forces that drive them. As an Industrial Engineer, I’ve honed my skills in analyzing complex processes and optimizing outcomes. This analytical mindset has extended beyond the professional realm, allowing me to delve into the mystical and esoteric.
I’m a proud Grand Runemaster of the Knights of Runes, skilled in the ancient wisdom of the Armanen Futhorkh. I’ve applied this knowledge to various aspects of my life, from meditation and divination to practical magic. My contributions to the Knights of Runes’ annual journal, the Futhorkh, reflect my passion for sharing this knowledge with others.
My journey with Toastmasters International has further refined my communication and leadership skills. I’ve had the privilege of inspiring audiences both locally and internationally, sharing insights from both my professional and spiritual experiences.
As a leader, I’ve guided numerous individuals towards personal and professional growth. I’ve mentored and coached, empowering others to live authentically and achieve their full potential. Whether it’s through one-on-one sessions, group workshops, or simply offering words of encouragement, I’ve cultivated a toolbox of effective strategies to inspire and motivate.
Ultimately, my greatest strength lies in my ability to see the bigger picture while simultaneously paying attention to the details. I’m a skilled synthesizer, capable of bridging seemingly disparate ideas and uncovering new perspectives. This systems thinking approach has allowed me to help countless individuals reach their full potential.
While I’ve achieved various accomplishments, I believe that true fulfillment comes from living authentically and embodying one’s values. External achievements are fleeting, but the qualities of the soul are timeless.

]]>What is one thing you would change about yourself?
I’m a work in progress, just like everyone else. I’m happy with who I am, flaws and all. Sure, I procrastinate sometimes, and I could be fitter. But when I really want something, I make it happen.
We all have limitations, and some things are harder to change than others. No amount of effort will turn someone with a broad frame into a supermodel. So, if you can’t change something, embrace it! Find the humor in it or simply make the best of it. Self-acceptance and self-care bring more joy than constant striving.
My philosophy is simple: if you want to change, set your intention, build new habits, and be patient. Change takes time and effort. If you can’t change something, accept it and find a way to turn it into a strength.
Here’s a powerful tool that works both ways: visualization. When you want to change, visualize your goal as if it’s already achieved. This will energize you and propel you forward. If you can’t change something, visualize it positively. Your imagination is limitless. Don’t dwell on what you lack; instead, focus on what you want. Visualization can shift your mindset and make it easier to accept your circumstances.
So, I urge you: stop chasing after what you don’t have. Either make a plan to change or accept yourself. The key to happiness in both scenarios is the power of visualization. A cat cannot become a dog but they can visualize it!

Are you more of a night or morning person?
Oh, mornings are so my time! Waking up late? No way—that’s missing the grand show! Sunrises painting the sky, birds belting out their greatest hits—it’s pure magic! There’s nothing like soaking in the morning sunshine, meditating, and gearing up for an epic day ahead.
But oh, when night rolls around, I just can’t let it go! Handing over the day to sleep? Tragic. Heartbreaking. There’s always one more page to read, one more thought to ponder, one last spark of creativity to chase.
So, what’s the verdict? Am I a morning or a night person? Honestly, it’s impossible to pick. I’m pulling a full-on Libra here—both have their irresistible charm! Mornings inspire, nights mesmerize, and I’m here for it all.
Life’s too precious to play favorites. Every second, every moment is a tiny miracle waiting to be savored. Sleep? Sure, it’s important—can’t function without it. But let’s not let it hog the spotlight! Day and night are my dynamic duo, yin and yang, partners in this grand adventure.
So here’s the plan: live wide awake, dream when it’s time, and embrace it all. Why choose when you can have everything?
What is good about having a pet?
Through our pets, we connect with the natural world and our own humanity. They offer us a unique perspective, reminding us of our place in the grand scheme of things. Whether it’s the unwavering loyalty of a dog, the aloof independence of a cat, or the gentle nature of a bird, our pets teach us about life, loss, and the preciousness of every moment.
Animals, with their unfiltered emotions and simple pleasures, are masters of life’s little lessons. They remind us to embrace the moment, practice unconditional love, cultivate patience, and find joy in the simplest things. Ever watched a dog joyfully chase its tail or a cat bask in a sunbeam? They’re living proof that happiness can be as simple as a warm patch of sunlight. Our pets love us for who we are, not what we do or have. They’re the ultimate wingmen, always there to offer a paw-sitive outlook on life.
Training a pet can be a test of patience, but the rewards are immense. It’s like a crash course in perseverance, teaching us that even the most stubborn creature can eventually learn to sit (or at least pretend to). A simple walk in the park with a dog or a quiet cuddle with a cat can bring immense joy. It’s like therapy, but with fewer fees and more purrs.
So, the next time you’re feeling down or stressed, take a moment to connect with your pet. Their love, loyalty, and unique personalities have the power to lift your spirits and enrich your life in countless ways. After all, who needs a therapist when you have a furry friend to listen to your woes (and maybe even judge you a little)?
Invent a holiday! Explain how and why everyone should celebrate.
Tired of the Noise? Ready for a Reboot?
Imagine a world where the constant chatter of notifications, the relentless pursuit of material gain, and the endless cycle of news and drama take a backseat. A world where humanity pauses, breathes, and reconnects with its inner self.
As your benevolent world leader, I decree a global holiday of silent meditation. A day where we collectively unplug from the chaos of the outside world and tune into the serene depths of our own minds.
A Day for Humanity; this isn’t a religious holiday, nor is it a new age fad. It’s a simple, yet profound, act of self-care for the entire planet. A day to:
Meditate: Whether it’s silent contemplation, prayer, or simply clearing your mind, this is your time. Connect: Feel the energy of human connection, even in silence. A simple smile can convey volumes.Reset: Press the “refresh” button on your mind, body, and soul.
A Global Ubuntu – Inspired by the African philosophy of Ubuntu, “I am because we are,” this global holiday celebrates our interconnectedness. By acknowledging the sacred spirit within each other, we foster empathy, compassion, and understanding.
So, let’s embark on this journey together. Let’s create a world where peace, love, and understanding reign supreme. A world where we’re not just individuals, but a harmonious collective.
Are you ready to join the movement?
You have three magic genie wishes, what are you asking for?
If I had three wishes, I’d wish for the power to help, to heal, and to protect.
Imagine a world where everyone had the ability to lend a helping hand, to soothe a troubled soul, and to shield the innocent. This is the world I aspire to, a world where compassion, courage, and kindness reign supreme.
With the power to help, I could alleviate suffering, inspire hope, and uplift those around me. I would strive to be a beacon of light, offering support and encouragement to all who cross my path.
The power to heal would allow me to mend broken hearts, soothe troubled minds, and restore balance to the world. I would dedicate myself to nurturing the well-being of others, both physically and emotionally.
Finally, the power to protect would enable me to safeguard the vulnerable, defend the oppressed, and uphold justice. I would stand as a guardian of peace and harmony, shielding others from harm and striving for a world where everyone feels safe and secure.
By embodying these three powers, I believe we can create a more compassionate, just, and harmonious world. Let us all strive to help, heal, and protect, and together, we can make a positive impact on the world.
