A secret smile

Ah, the secret #smile, a pleasure reserved for those delightfully absurd moments alone. There I was, after spiritual teaching, feeling rather accomplished, when a nonsensical truth popped into existence. It was like realizing I spend half my life searching for my glasses, only to have them perched on my head the whole time. The same went for my outfit today – meticulously planned, only to crave the comfort and warmthn of my favorite sweater.
In these moments, a silent grin spreads across my face. It’s a self-deprecating chuckle, a knowing nod to the absurdity of it all. It’s a moment of quiet communion with the universe, a shared recognition of the nonsensical beauty of existence. In my smile, there’s a touch of amusement, a hint of bewilderment, and a whole lot of “Yep, that’s just how things go around here.”

Bret Shuttleworth 5 day challenge – make your soul smile!

I subscribed to a 5 day online challenge by Brett Shuttleworth – Make your soul smile. The first challenge is to introduce myself and I thought to make it a fun introduction. So here we go!

Friends, fellow adventurers of the inner kingdom of Soul!

My soul practically did the Macarena (with acceptable levels of dignity, of course) when I stumbled upon this “Make Your Soul Smile” challenge. I thought “This is a gift from the universe to me for 2024”.

You see, I’m on a quest – a noble pursuit of soulful sunshine and global giggle fits. And when I saw these seven portals to joy – Intention, Masterpiece, Gratitude, Balance, Integrity, Humour (because let’s face it, laughter is the secret sauce of life!), and Love (the big kahuna of them all) – well, let’s just say my inner compass did a joyous jig.

So, buckle up, beautiful souls! I’m here to fill my cup with this potent elixir of joy and then, like a tipsy unicorn overflowing with rainbows, sprinkle it all over the world. We’re about to paint the planet with smiles, brighter than a disco ball dipped in glitter and dragged through a field of daisies. Prepare to be dazzled, delighted, and maybe even mildly bewildered by the sheer radiance of our collective glee.

Onward, my friends, to a universe where our souls do the samba and hearts hum a symphony of joy! Let’s make this challenge a kaleidoscope of wonder, a confetti cannon of self-discovery, and a testament to the unstoppable power of a good belly laugh.
