In reply to zeal4living2.Thanks for your flattering comment Jurgens, Many years go I was a Merchant Marine Cadet and almost got assigned to a ship traveling to Capetown - but was sent to South America instead - I've always regretted not visiting your fascinating country. Mienere's disease shortened my career as a seaman and I found my vocation as a teacher while in the Army - teaching navigation and seamanship (yes the US army had its own small navy). My intellectual interests have always been Social History and Sociology. My wife was a teacher of Psychology - we make a good pair. If you're interested, the only fraternity I am currently active in is the Triple Nine Society - a strange bunch, to say the least.

I’ve followed you for some years now and I’m happy to see your continuing spiritual development.
Like you, I have been a member of several fraternities – was once even a local Pyrtanis – but now, toward the end of my life (I’ll be 84 in April) I am active in only one – one which I had no choice about membership in, but find interesting. After a slow start, I have followed my dream all my life – focusing on what interested, excited, and satisfied me rather than a “road to wealth and power”. As a result I am surprised to find myself rich , both economically and intellectually – at least as such things are most often measured.
I’ve read Benard’s “Secret Meeting ” and found it interesting, if somewhat difficult – French does not really translate well into English. My pathways have been Historical and Sociological – very different from yours – but I have been a teacher all my life.

Wizard and and warrior – I’m happy you see the pattern of your life and shared it. I can related. My life is totally different and exactly the same. I’ve traveled far and I don’t know where I’m going. Where ever it is, it is where I’m supposed to go. I tend to lean towards there is a cosmic hand guiding me along. I seek and I point.
